Products to Meet your Needs
Plaforization products are available in several
classes, depending on your process needs:
Ecophor A447, Ecophor B700, and Ecophor System can be used
for in-line dip, static dip or flowcoat applications. Ecophor
A 447 can be air-dried or hot forced air-dried, and all of
the products can be oven-dried. You can select a product based
on your process requirements. Ecophor products provide salt
spray results between those of iron phosphating and zinc phosphating.
The products are air degradable and are virtually VOC-free.
Ecophor B407 can also be used for in-line dip,
static dip or flowcoat applications, and is designed to provide
up to 72 hours of uncoated salt spray resistance and, of course,
much higher salt spray resistance in combination with topcoats.
It must be oven-dried.
The Ecopur line is used to pretreat polyurethane
formulations with a density higher than 0.25. Testing is recommended
before using Ecopur for the pretreatment of other plastic
surfaces such as ABS, or Fiber-Reinforced Polyester.
