Plaforization is a truly one-step
cleaning, phosphating and seal system, with no rinse stage.
It uses no water and the bath is not heated, so there is no
waiting for warm-up.
The bath is never changed, only topped off as
needed. It is extremely stable, so no daily bath checks are
needed. That means, among other things, that you get consistent
performance on your finished products.
The process does not create sludge and, since
no water is used, there is no water treatment or dumping.
Plaforization can be used in a variety of plant
designs – dip or flowcoat, and static, indexed or in-line.
And capital cost is lower because it is a one-step system.
Plaforization works on virtually all metals,
including steel, aluminum, stainless steel (works great for
adhesion), magnesium, etc. And various metals can be treated
at the same time.
